History:
This is an 86 year-old male with a history of myocardial infarction, hypertension, peripheral vascular disease and coronary artery bypass graft surgery. The patient underwent diagnostic angiography of the right and left carotid arteries performed through a 6F sheath placed in the right common femoral artery (CFA). Angiography revealed a critical, 95-98% stenosis in the left internal carotid artery.......
