Tamir Wolf, MD, PhD Joins the Cardiovascular Research Foundation as Senior Director, Operations and Development for the CRF Clinical Trials Center


New York, NY., The Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) announced today that Tamir Wolf, MD, PhD has joined the organization as Senior Director, Operations and Development for the Clinical Trials Center (CTC), the academic research organization of CRF.
  

Dr. Wolf will oversee the CTC’s business development and marketing activities, project management, and data administration. In collaboration with the CRF Skirball Center for Innovation, he will serve as the CTC lead on first in human (FIH) and early feasibility studies. In addition, he will lead new areas of economic analysis, big data, and health economics outcomes research. Dr. Wolf will also serve as a liaison to domestic and international startups and venture capital groups.

Dr. Wolf brings a wealth of clinical and medical device development experience to CRF. He is a Co-Founder of Digma Medical and NiTiNOTES Surgical, medical device startups in Israel. Previously he was Medical Director for Accelmed, a leading investment firm in Israel, where he led investments and device development processes for numerous companies. Prior to that, Dr. Wolf was Vice President, Clinical Affairs at Sensible Medical Innovations. Earlier in his career, he was Director of Clinical Affairs at OmniGuide in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he spearheaded clinical and market development for their neurosurgical line.    

Dr. Wolf received his MD and PhD at The Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, and took part in the Executive Education program at Harvard Business School.
