Tuesday, July 14, 2020A simple score incorporating 6 clinical and angiographic characteristics can help predict the risk of clinically driven restenosis in patients receiving a drug-eluting stent (DES), according to a study based on a large, all-comers registry. The findings were published online July 6, 2010, ahead of print in Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions.
To explore predictors of clinically driven TLR in the DES era, investigators led by David J. Cohen, MD, MSc, of St. Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute (Kansas City, MO), looked at 8,829 unselected patients who underwent DES implantation and were enrolled in the EVENT (Evaluation of Drug Eluting Stent and Ischemic Events) ....
