Providing an environment for collaboration and guidance among academia (basic and clinical scientists), industry, regulatory and reimbursement agencies, practice guideline writing committees, and patients to expedite scientific discoveries into clinical application by:
- Developing translational pathways for cardiovascular devices, biologics, and drugs
- Disseminating the science among the scientific community through JCTR, ISCTR’s journal
- Developing training and certification in translational science
- Incorporating patient voices into health care decisions
- Influencing health care policy
- Educating the public and improving the well-being of patients
