OVERVIEW
Drug-eluting stents (DES) have represented a significant breakthrough in interventional cardiology, with some DES platforms showing remarkable capacity for reducing angiographic restenosis and rates of revascularization. Continued research and outcomes monitoring is needed to determine which contemporary DES platforms will be integrated into clinical practice over the long-term. This webcast will provide panel discussion centered on critical analysis of ongoing clinical trials and emerging findings from the BIONYX trial comparing outcomes of Resolute Onyx stent to the Orsiro stent.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of this program, participants should be able to:
1) Define the results of the BIONYX trial and implications for DES selection in practice.
2) Identify the potential implications for DAPT duration following stent implantation.
3) Discuss the BIONYX study results in the context of historical and emerging DES research.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is designed for interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, clinical cardiologists, vascular medicine specialists, and other healthcare professionals.

Evaluation by questionnaire will address content, presentation, possible bias, and future educational needs.
