OVERVIEW

This webcast will focus on the prognosis of transcatheter mitral valve repair in heart failure and the latest trial data. This will be a valuable resource for physicians and other healthcare professionals to further discuss the findings and future implications of recent studies on mitral valve repair.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of this program, participants should be able to:

1) Describe the prognosis of mitral regurgitation in heart failure patients.

2) Discuss the role of medical therapy and mitral valve surgery in heart failure.

3) Interpret the results of emerging randomized trial data of transcatheter mitral valve repair in heart failure patients.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This activity is designed for interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, clinical cardiologists, vascular medicine specialists, and other healthcare professionals.

ACTIVITY EVALUATION

Evaluation by questionnaire will address content, presentation, possible bias, and future educational needs.
