DANVERS, Mass., (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Abiomed Inc., a leading provider of breakthrough heart support technologies, notes that there will be approximately eight potential Impella-related presentations in the scientific sessions at the annual EuroPCR 2014 cardiovascular course, scheduled from May 20 - 23, 2014 at the Palais Des Congrès de Paris.

New this year at EuroPCR, Abiomed will have demonstrations of the Impella RP, which recently received the CE Mark, and new simulators demonstrating bi-ventricular support of the Impella platform, which can be seen at Abiomed booth #M68.
