CID announces the launch of its new Easy Flype and Easy HiFlype self expandable stent
CID is pleased to announce the commercialization of its latest self expandable peripheral stent, Easy Flype and Easy HiFlype.
Easy Flype and Easy HiFlype represent the latest and most advanced drug-free technology for the treatment of the SFA and iliac arteries.
The devices represent the state of the art in the peripheral self expandable scenario thanks to:
- iCarbofilmTM integral coating on the stent surface. The latest coating from CID, allows a further increase in density of pure Carbon while reducing its overall thickness to ≤0.3 μm. This innovative technology brings an even closer similarity to the diamond structure of pure Carbon and its exceptional bio/haemo compatibility. This is particularly important for long lesions, with indication for long stenting, where both vessel wall and blood flow are exposed to a greater surface of metal. Furthermore, the iCarbofilmTM coating acts as a seal against the release of heavy metal ions like nickel from the nitinol alloy.
- The stent hybrid cellular design guarantees excellent flexibility, conformability, high uniform radial force and optimal scaffolding.
- The unique single hand delivery system that guarantees an easy track and reliable cross section, due to the braided shaft, and a micrometric release, which combine the 3:1 gear reduction and a pull-back system.
Easy Flype and Easy HiFlype complete the CID Endovascular stent portfolio, that includes renal, iliac and below the knee balloon expandable systems.
CID entered on the Peripheral Vascular market on January 2011 with the target to become a protagonist in this field offering to physicians the most advanced products for the treatment of Peripheral Vascular diseases.
